District/State Youth Events

Ozark Mission Project (OMP)

Every summer, youth in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in a week-long service experience throughout Arkansas. The week is spent with other Methodist youth across the state doing work for those less fortunate. At OMP you will find out just how much fun it can be to paint a house, mow a lawn, or clean up a house for someone who cannot do these things themselves. This is an amazing opportunity to work for the Lord and will be an experience you will never ever forget! To learn more about OMP, and their work throughout the state, check out their site!

Junior and Senior High Assembly

Assembly is a camp focused on corporate worship, small group learning, and fun and fellowship among the body of Christ! Junior High Assembly is open to students who have completed grades 6-8, while Senior High Assembly is for students who have finished 9-12th grade.

Veritas

Veritas is a state-wide event held on a weekend in late Februrary/early March every year. Focused on spiritual renewal, passionate worship, and community building, the goal of Veritas is “to make the young generation fully equipped with the teachings of Christ and make them Christ-centered individuals.” Over the weekend, students will experience worship, teaching, entertainment, and will have lots of time to bond as a group. Students also have a chance to meet and interact with other United Methodist students from across the state of Arkansas.
