A Thought: The Best is Yet to Come! Yesterday it was announced at my request that at Annual Conference next month, I will enter my final year of active UM ordained ministry. I will begin my seventh year at my beloved Asbury this summer and end my ministry there, after 30+ years of ministry. It will be our best year ever as we have more new members, new ministries, new staff, and new programs before us.
Endings always bring forth new beginnings.
What does this new week bring to you? What will you lay at the feet of Jesus, and what will you lift to the throne of God in prayer? The best is yet to come! Leave the past behind and let the angels of hope carry you forward in the Strength of Christ!
2 Cor. 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
