A Thought: Diminishing the level of stress in your life.

Getting stress out of your life takes more than prayer alone. You must take action to make changes and stop doing whatever is causing the stress. Things that are very helpful: 1) Prioritize what needs to be done and when. Pacing your tasks helps you from feeling overwhelmed. EVERYTHING really doesn’t have to be done today. 2) Practice some deep breathing and exhaling. It calms the heartbeat and clears the mind as you focus upon the breathing. 3) Don’t allow yourself or others to make unnecessary demands on your time. Learn to say “No” and learn to “ask for help.” Neither is a sign of weakness, but of wisdom. You were given work and life for JOYful living, not STRESSful living.

Jesus said,”Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will give you rest.(Mt. 11:28)
