YOUTH TRIPS
Each year there are numerous opportunities to get out and put your faith into action. At Asbury we love getting our hands dirty and sharing the message of Christ with those around us!
Ozark Mission Project
Every summer youth grades 9-12 are invited to participate in a weeklong service experience throughout Arkansas. The week is spent with other Methodist youth across the state doing work for those less fortunate. At OMP you will find out just how much fun it can be to paint a house, mow a lawn, or clean up a house for someone who cannot do these things themselves. This is an amazing opportunity to work for the Lord and will be an experience you will never ever forget! This year Asbury will be attending two camps. The dates are June 10-16th and June 24-30th. Stop by the Youth Office and sign-up TODAY because spots are filling quickly!
Youth 2007
This year the Senior High youth are planning to attend Youth 2007. This event happens every 4 years and brings United Methodist Youth from the entire world together for a week of worship, fellowship, and mission work. This year's event will be held July 11-15th, in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is literally a once in a lifetime event so please consider it as an option for your summer. If you'd like more information, you can pick up registration forms from the youth office or visit, www.youth2007.org. We have limited spots, so sign up as soon as possible.
Conference Events
Throughout the year, we have opportunities to attend several conference events. These events, coordinated by the Arkansas Conference Council on Youth Ministries, provide ways to fellowship with youth from all over the state of Arkansas.
