55+
A very important part of ministry at Asbury is caring for all ages.
Persons age 55+ will find opportunities, outside Sunday School,
Bible Study groups, and churchwide events, to connect with one another
in Christian love and fellowship and in community worship. Whether
you attend regularly or are no longer able to attend our church
campus, we have a ministry for you!
Keenager Luncheon
Keenagers is a monthly opportunity for persons age 55+ to come together
for food and fellowship. The first Tuesday of each month(except
Jan. & Aug.), Keenagers enjoy a catered luncheon and a wide
variety of programs. Keenagers meet at 12:00 noon in the Wilson
Activity Center. Lunch and program provided for $5; call for reservations
Senior Game Day
Fun and friendly competition is enjoyed the third Thursday of each
month, except December, when seniors gather in the Youth Lounge
for a variety of games and fellowship from 10:30am to approximately
2:00pm. Mexican Train Dominoes, Bridge, Rummikube, or the game of
your choice!
Bring a sack lunch. Dessert, coffee, and tea are provided.
All members and guests are welcome!
Connecting to Keenagers in the community
In addition to the "in house" programs,
Keenagers reaches out to the community through a variety of ministries.
At the Good Shepherd Retirement Center a non–denominational
bible study is offered at the Cove. This study meets the first and
third Tuesday's of every month.
