Children's Ministry

Sunday Opportunities

From birth through 5th grade, children are loved and valued in Asbury’s Children’s Ministry! Our Sunday morning educational programs are built around our mission and core values to provide an age appropriate Christian Education. Programs are rich with exciting hands-on learning, focused around the multiple intelligences and whole child development.  Below you will find, the various activities we provide for your children to learn and grow in the love for God.

Please check in on Sundays in the Children’s Area.  Our check in station is located at the top of the main staircase on the west end of the building near the nursery.

First Sunday Family Worship

(Communion Sundays)

We hope that you take this opportunity to worship as a family, teaching your children the importance of corporate worship…the joy of praising God through word, prayer, song, and the sacrament of Holy Communion. So on Communion Sundays, the first Sunday of the month,  we ask that you worship together as a family. There is a class, for 3’s and 4’s, which will go into the Starry Night Room (Room 215) for a lesson and activity. Children, Kindergarten through 5th Grade, are asked to stay with their families.

Kid’s Club Worship ~ 8:30 and 10:45 am services

Children, age 3 through 5th Grade, attend the beginning of “Big” worship with their family. After the Children’s Moments, the children are released to a time of learning and activities.
