Children ages 3 - Kindergarten are offered classrooms complete with learning centers, crafts and music. Their weekly lessons are developed from and based on simple Bible stories from God's Holy Word.
MIGHTY RIVER
Sunday 9:45– 10:35am
Focusing on the whole child, this Sunday morning program offers
first through fourth Graders exciting curriculum filled with costumed
storytellers, music and instruments, art, science, cooking, woodworking,
movies, drama and skits, puppetry, games, and other hands-on activities
that will enable the children to own the stories of the Bible and
the teachings of Jesus. Children are instructed in life application
of the Bible, and given many opportunities through mission opportunities to grow into a servant of Jesus Christ.
Each week a child attends a different learning environment based
on the multiple intelligence theory. During each learning
unit, children will experience the same Biblical concept or story
in a different way. Through these different experiences, children will
explore in ways that match their learning style, and
explore areas that may need help in developing. At the
end of each unit, we celebrate our learning and encourage
the children to help plan activities for the next unit. When children
take part in planning their own learning, we find enhanced
attention spans, focused classrooms, and excited children.
What better to be excited about than the lessons of Jesus!
