CARE TEAM

One of the strengths of Asbury is its caring nature. Asbury is a community of faith where members truly love, pray, and nurture one another in countless ways.

The Mission of the Care Team is to enhance the caring atmosphere of the church family, to share in the great moments of life, whether of crisis or celebration, and minister in the name of Jesus Christ who said, "I was a stranger and you took me in, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. I say to you in as much as you did it to one of the least of these in my family, you did it to me." Mt 25:25,36,40

Opportunities for servant ministry include nursing home, at home member and hospital visitation, crisis ministry, joy ministry, and "basket" ministry.
