A Thought: Out of Place, You can Still Grow! Yesterday on my morning walk, I couldn’t help but notice this pink petunia growing through a crack in the curb of the street. What a delightful and odd surprise that was! It must have been dropped when gardeners were planting in the nearby flower bed surrounding the mailbox. Sun and rain and soil in the curb’s crack, enabled the tiny flower to ‘bloom where it was planted!’ We have to do the same!
You’re no longer in a certain job, relationship, health status, social status, etc.. Adjusting with whatever change you’re experiencing, you can either mope about it, or ‘bloom where you’re planted.’ This little flower, straightened up; reached for the sunlight; endured the strong wind and rain; and grew. If a tiny creation can do that against all odds, we can do the same. So trust, straighten up in your strength and conviction, and GROW!
Happy Saturday! Heb. 6:1 “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity.”
