A Thought: A New Invasion of Privacy. Wow! With fewer land lines to call and annoy you, now we have political candidates having people text you hoping for your vote on behalf of their spouse, friend, etc… Really?? Of course, I text back not only am I not voting for their candidate, but I tell them who I am voting for, and I firmly tell them to remove me from their list. The disappointing one yesterday said he was David Pryor(former Senator from my hometown no less!) and to please vote for W. Sabin. Not sure it was actually he, but my mayor’s name is going to be Baker Kurrus.
Privacy is important and should be respected. In this culture, it’s becoming increasingly precious—thank you to our modern technology, needed but somewhat invasive. Jesus desired and needed privacy, but life’s storms often invaded His peace. Today may others respect your privacy as you also regard theirs. Have a great Tuesday! Matthew 8:23-24 “Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.”
