A Thought: Laughter. We had friends over last night for supper and games. We never laughed so hard! In fact, I realized it had been a long time since I had laughed so much and so hard. I don’t know why, but I know I need more laughter—it is cleansing and helps break built up tension of which we are often unaware. I love the picture of the laughing Jesus. I imagine he often broke the inner burden of frustration and disappointment by those moments of cherished laughter. So find a way to laugh today for innocent joy—-it is a gift from God. Prov. 17:22 “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”
