April 4

A Thought: “I lift my eyes unto the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved, he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and for evermore.”
This Psalm 121 is of great comfort. It reminds us of God’s constant protective mercies. Jesus often went to the mountains to find Renewal in Strength through Prayer to His Father. When life presents us with a Struggle, don’t go to the Lord as a last result after you’ve tried everything else…go to the Lord FIRST. And you don’t need a mountain, you just need to lift your eyes up to seek His Presence, before you bow your head in humility before His Presence. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
