A Thought: Watch! Watch for scams, watch for ice, watch your back. In just the bit of time I’ve been awake, I’ve already heard all three of these. So while everyone is telling us to practice caution (which is good), we should find that balance between prepared caution and calculated mistrust. How exhausting that is when you hesitate to trust anyone?! Be smart, certainly, but be open to giving people the ‘benefit of the doubt.’ Most people, even in today’s culture, are decent and care. So,
‘Watch,’ but Trust, asking God for discernment. Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
