December 4

A Thought: It’s not snow, but plow right through it! Everyone of us has days, for one reason or another, that are especially taxing( especially if you are getting sick!) Yesterday was one of those days: Preaching 2 out of 3 services; an unexpected invitation to lunch with friends—one of which I hadn’t seen in many years; teaching a Confirmation class; followed by the Jingle Jubilee Family Life event; followed by a youth counselors meeting. Each and every one of these things were very important and resulted in great blessings. I found my strength from God to plow through the laryngitis; congestion, etc.
Today or this week, if you too, find yourself needing to plow through what seems a lot in front of you, dig deep into your faith, and God will enable you to do what you are called to do. Remember, Jesus prayed before He met His challenges. So, don’t forget to 🙏🏻
Happy Monday! Mark 1:35 “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”
