November 1

A Thought: Remember the Saints. Today is All Saints’ Day, a day that was set aside in early Christianity to commemorate those who martyred their lives when persecuted for professing their faith in Christ. On Sunday, we will remember those who have transferred to the Church Triumphant since last year, as well as remember those persons who have been ‘saints’ in our lives, leading us in the faith. It is one of my favorite services in the year, as we light a candle and say a prayer of thanksgiving for the deep roots of faith our saints have laid down for us. Who has been your saint? Are you conscious of becoming a ‘saint’ for someone leading by example in Jesus Christ? It is our legacy. Happy Wednesday!
Psalm 31:23 “Love the Lord, all you his saints! The Lord preserves the faithful.”
