A Thought: It’s Not Just Another Shooting.

It’s called the worst mass murder by shooting in US history. More than fifty people were not planning on meeting their Maker as a result of going to a country music concert. Over 200 people were expecting to go home after the concert, but instead went to a hospital. Hospital staff were not prepared for such an influx of need last night. A city’s governmental staff never predicted they would have to deal with this kind of crisis in a┬ácity constructed as an entertainment getaway. I suspect more and more public venues of every kind are going to have regulated metal detectors and body checks. I don’t say that as a ‘political’ comment but as a safety concern. I don’t have to tell you to pray. If you follow these daily devotionals, you have no doubt already prayed for the victims, their families and all personnel involved. It’s Monday—guard your day as a precious gift and do something to lift humanity and glorify God. Take care!

Ps. 118:24 “This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
