A Thought: Life’s Special Privileges.
It wasn’t enough to be so filled by the Spirit through the gift of the gorgeous music this past Sunday for our Patriotic service and Lord’s Supper. No! God topped it off by giving me the gift of offering my granddaughter her first Holy Communion. She was very reverent the entire service and likewise, as she received the Consecrated Elements. I gave her what Apostle Paul calls a ‘Holy kiss,’ (Emmi style!), then, she and her beautiful family, Katie and Channin, kneeled in prayer. The next person in line was a saint named Evelyn Jacobs, mother of Patricia Jacobs Anderson, who wanted HER kiss! I was more than happy to oblige–she is a sweetie!
The Sacraments of the church hold sacred moments. Thank You, God, for allowing me to experience them!
Luke 22:19 “And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
