A Thought: Called to Respond.

The hospital chaplain was unavailable. It was Sunday afternoon nap time. : ) Nap never happened. Didn’t need it. The Spirit gave me the energy I needed. A member of our church had alerted me to a need: A family was grieving the sudden loss of their child and needed spiritual answers, support, and comfort. I gave it my best. They were very grateful. Their grief is compounded by other factors which I won’t go into at this time.
On any given day, you may be called to relieve another’s suffering through encouraging words, prayer, presence, or helpful action. Don’t hesitate—rest assured God has selected YOU for that moment to be an ambassador of His love and Spirit. You will be glad you responded, and you will be honored to offer God’s love. Find that opportunity today! Happy Monday!

John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last-and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”
