A Thought: Such a Good Word.
While researching for our ‘Faith Through the Decades Series’ and last Sunday’s message, the 60’s, I came across this statement from Dr. Martin Luther King. This is reminiscent of when the disciples tried to drive out evil from some who were possessed by it, and they could not. Jesus’ response was, Some evil can only be dispelled through prayer.”
Mark 28:9-10 “When Jesus was alone in the house with his disciples, they asked him, “Why couldn’t we cast out that evil spirit?” Jesus replied, “This kind can be cast out only by prayer.”
As you go through your Wednesday, you may read about or witness something evil. Stop what you are doing and PRAY about it. Apathy and acceptance or becoming desensitized to the terrible acts in this world is not spiritually healthy or helpful. Have a good one!
