A Thought: In Arkansas, we wake up this morning hearing the Ten Commandments monument recently placed on the Capitol grounds was destroyed overnight, and the suspect arrested. As we approach USA’s Independence Day, one of the freedoms we celebrate is the freedom of religion. And as I am a Christian and a child of God, as an American I must also respect the freedoms established when our nation was born. Its birth, although rooted in the One True God, still allowed for all persons to have the right to practice and express their faith. Any destruction or theft of property is a crime, and protests for violation of rights can be expected. My point is: Isn’t it more important to PRACTICE the faith we defend rather than make idols/statues to it? Just a Thought…

Ex. 32:31 So Moses went back to the LORD and said, “Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold.”
