18A Thought: Life doesn’t stay on “pause.”

When watching tv for awhile on the same channel, suddenly, a screen will pop up and ask you if you want to continue watching as the viewing seems to be ‘inactive.’ Enjoying the same channel for awhile is perceived as disinterest.
As we live out our lives, we too, can appear to be disinterested, bored, and unenthusiastic, with no intention of changing. We are basically stuck, while the rest of the world keeps moving all around us at a pretty fast pace. Life wasn’t given to us to be wasted, disengaged, or “put on continuous pause.” Jesus said to the fishermen resting on the shore as they continued to mend their nets, “Come, follow Me. I will make you fishers of men.” He didn’t say “when you feel like it; when it’s convenient for you.” No! There was immediacy in His invitation. Today, consider moving forward whether you are stuck in your work; your grief; or your struggle.
Life just simply isn’t meant to be lived on “pause.”

Have a great Wednesday!

Matt.19:26  “Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
