I’m thinking this morning about members of our church who are recovering from all kinds of surgeries. I’m thinking about friends who are in the hospital instead of home this holiday season. These situations are difficult, but I am thankful for surgeries which improve the quality of living; hospitals and staff, lending comfort in times of illness; medicines which relieve pain. These are all gifts from God and I am grateful. There are those in parts of the world who suffer not having these available.
Most of us have been sick, have had some sort of surgery, or suffered in some way, and received gifts from God to heal. Today pray for someone who needs healing. Your prayers will bring both healing and that JOY that is indescribable and feels like no other in our hearts. Have a joyful Tuesday!
James 1:2-3 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
