A Thought: How Do You Contribute?
It’s true that most of us gravitate to and do well at that which we enjoy doing. But what about the rest of ‘the stuff?’ No doubt, Jesus and the disciples had the mundane to take care of, but the gospels don’t focus on those details. Yet, He directed them from time to time in the ‘details’—Mt. 21:2
“Go into the village over there,” He said. “As soon as you enter it, you will see a donkey tied there, with its colt beside it. Untie them and bring them to me.”
Another time He said, “Go into the village
and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’
The ‘routine’ is a part of life and we must do our best even in the “tedious,” so give it your best—each step toward the goal is equally important to the goal!
