A Thought: Well, here we go!
It looks like from all the FB posts that most everyone had a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July. I hope so–we certainly did! But now, it’s time to buckle down and get back to work( unless you’re on vacation!) I thought about this wonderful Bible story from Joshua where the Israelites were moving forward toward the Promised Land, dealing with the struggles of enemy territory along the way. As you deal with traffic, office challenges, or issues with friends, family or home, be courageous, obedient, and faithful as Joshua endeavored to do, and you too, will find obstacles to your course will be miraculously overcome! Make it a great Tuesday!
Joshua 3:15 “It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge, the water coming downstream toward them stopped flowing. It piled up far upstream at Adam (the city near Zarethan); there was no water at all flowing to the sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea). So the people were able to cross over the river opposite Jericho.”
