A Thought: Through the Storm. Last night, like many, I drove through high winds, flying debris and dark skies, on my commute home. I will readily admit, it was a bit scary. I called Tony, who assured me the storm line was behind me, which was encouraging, yet the 68 mph winds were shifting my car from time to time. I thought about Peter and the disciples in the midst of the storm. For 12 hours(the 4th watch) they struggled(not an hour like I did), before realizing Jesus was walking across the sea toward them. Often, we feel we are dealing with our struggles on our own, yet Jesus is right there all the time, coming to meet our need. When we reach out to Jesus, the peace will follow. Have a great weekend and be safe!
Mt. 14:22 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter said, “let me come to you on the water.”
