A Thought: Rediscover the Simple Pleasures of Life.
Having Laine Austin visit this week, has reinforced the wonder in discovering the simple things in life. To see and be near a deer so close; to look outside and see the sparkle of dew on the grass, and the ripple in a pond; to be silly in your grandmother’s glasses or play with her necklace; to anticipate a long stroll in the heart of the woods–-these are the little things in life which are fascinating to children, but have become mundane to adults. Perhaps, to approach and appreciate God’s Creation and the simple things in life are what Jesus meant when He said, “Unless you approach the Kingdom of God as a child, you cannot enter it.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under Heaven.”
Have a blessed Wednesday of discovery!
