A Thought: Serve gracious hospitality.
As I continue to lift in thanksgiving lessons in life from Mom, I am reminded of her gracious hospitality she offered so many. Here is a picture of that hospitality and friendship returning to her, as her friends hosted my announcement tea, following our engagement. Later in retirement, Mom shared camellias and other flowers to friends and shut-ins, took food to the bereaved, and had an active ministry of writing encouraging notes to many. Of course, Christ served the ultimate hospitality in the Lord’s Supper and modeled how to be The Gracious Host.
