A Thought: Your mind is on this week’s work being completed, and plans for the weekend are filling your thoughts.

As you go through the motions of the day, in the spirit of humanity, look and practice at least one single opportunity to help someone. Let someone in your lane of traffic; smile at someone whose spirits obviously need lifting; open the door for someone; send a donation to a charity; pray a prayer and send a note to someone going through a difficult time. The need out there is as great as the options to do something. In offering help to someone, you help yourself. You’ve developed your compassion and character just a bit more, while easing someone’s burden, and God will immediately enable you to feel your spirit lifted. Happy Friday!

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
