December 28

A Thought: This was a GREAT Christmas as we celebrated all we are thankful for in our lives: Family, Faith, Friends, and Charity for others. Mom taught me the importance of writing thank you notes to those who have taken the time to prepare a gift just for me. I have passed that on to our children. Some feel that is old-fashioned. I believe it is spiritual. Being thankful is an attitude of the heart. Where would we be had our forefathers in the faith not been so grateful to God, writing their journey of thanksgiving? What we know as the Bible would be non-existent. Begin this day, the rest of your life, in a spirit of thanksgiving, even if something really tough has happened, because it COULD always be worse! “I will give you thanks always.” Ps.138
