A Thought: The Morning After.
After a celebration or a day of something important accomplished or completed, take time to linger in the joy, yet let that joy move you forward as fuel to help assist you into the next project or plan. When Christ was transfigured on the mountain, Peter wanted to linger and commemorate the experience by building a monument, which was the religious and culturally acceptable thing to do. But Jesus directed instead, they come down the mountain, and re-enter the real world, as He had to face what awaited Him in Jerusalem.
God gives us joyful moments to enable us to practice the fortitude we need to do our work.
Eccles. 3:1 “For everything there is a season, a time for every matter under heaven…”
