Ordained Elder in the Arkansas Conference in 1990, Reverend Hilliard received her Masters of Theology at SMU Perkins School of Theology, and has served her entire ministry in churches throughout the state of Arkansas. She is married to Anthony A. (Tony) Hilliard, an attorney, and they are the parents of Katie Hilliard Tacito and Kara A. Hilliard. Reverend Hilliard has had a lifelong passion for Christian ministry and invites you to come and share her enthusiasm for Christ and His Word in a fresh and exciting way.
Reverend Doug Walker was licensed in June 2017 by the Bishop of the Arkansas United Methodist Conference as a Local Pastor after completing the prescribed requirements set forth in The Book of Discipline. He received his Masters of Applied Psychology degree specializing in Organizational Behavior and Statistics in 1997, and his undergraduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 1992, both from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Doug has many years of experience in executive leadership in the public and private sectors, and has worked on many local, state and national level committees and boards of trustees. He has been a professor in higher education, a teacher, a trainer, mentor, and an organizational behavior consultant for many years. Doug is married to Cindi Walker, who is the K-6 Behavioral Counselor for eStem Public Charter School in Little Rock. Together they have three daughters and three grandchildren.
Ordained in 1966, Rev. Tom Weir served for 44 years as an elder in the United Methodist Church. He was first assigned to Asbury in 1993. After retiring in 2005, he returned to Asbury and was officially bestowed the honor of Pastor Emeritus in 2008. He is married to his lovely wife Marion and has two adult children, Priscilla and Melissa, as well as two grandchildren, Thomas and Elizabeth. He loves the people of Asbury and it is because of them he has been glad to serve here for almost 20 years.
