The Church Administrator is a full time employee of Asbury United Methodist Church reporting directly to the Senior Pastor.
The Church Administrator supervises administrative, custodial, contractors, and the office volunteer staff. Also is responsible for management of office operations, security, physical plant and grounds in accordance with established policies and procedures of the church.
Skills and Educational Requirements
Prefer a Bachelors degree with minimum of 5 years management experience. This person should be experienced in dealing with building management and scheduling of work projects on site. The ability to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate various projects regarding the physical plant and grounds, as well as other Church ministries, is required. Must be able to work well in a team environment with church staff and possess good people skills in dealing with church members on a daily basis. Basic computer skills required. Salary commensurate with experience.
